An annual summer event since 2004, this year, Niagara Gateway Harmony’s “Berries ‘n Harmony”
will honour both Canada 150 and
fifty years of singing by NGH.
From its inception in 1967, as a Centennial project, this local barbershop
chorus has consistently provided
audiences with excellent musical
entertainment in and around the Grimsby area.
1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Old Pump
House, at the foot of Elizabeth Street,
on the shore of beautiful Lake Ontario.
Admission and the music are free, and,
for just $5 you can enjoy one of
our delicious strawberry sundaes.
This year’s line up, promising a variety of performers to
appeal to a variety of musical tastes, includes
- The NGH chorus
- Niagara’s “Trio Corn Brio”
- “The Reeds” harmonica band
- Guest barbershop quartet “Station Break”
- Singer/song writer Karl Jaks
There will even be chances for the audience to sing along!
It’s sure to be an afternoon to remember, so plan to relax with us for a free concert, and enjoy the taste of summer with fresh, local strawberries and frosty, cold ice cream. For more information call Bruce at 905-945-3495
